Are mold allergies helped by moving to a dry climate?

Posted on June 5, 2010.

My daughter has been diagnosed with an allergy to the phoma mold family. We live in an area with very cold winters and hot, humid summers. I am wondering if a desert climate is beneficial for those with mold allergies.

We lived by Bisbee AZ and still had mold. So we moved back to Oregon and just keep the house clean to stop the mold.

anywhere that is dry. florida is a great place. just be sure that the house does not have water damage or moisture. I moved from North Carolina mountains to north west georgia because of the damp moldy mountain. I feel a lot better now. it is pretty dry here.
