You need to hire professionals who look at infested house with molds. It can really make you sick and can kill you (death). You should be wearing a mask in the place you don’t want to breath the mold’s spores. The mold professional can inspect you place and determined what kinds of molds are there and which is fatal or mild and will tell you what needs to be done to remove it. You may have a vapor barrier problem or a leak between walls that is causing mold growth. Please, hire a mold removable company so you and your wife don’t become really sick or die from the mold infestedation in your house. Wish you all the good health back and rid of mold.

have an exahust fan in your bathroom

and spray the mold with diluted bleach in water. and scrub it

and get an air purifier like Pure Ion. those take everything out of the air. just make sure you actually get an authentic pure ion, there are imposter ones out there that have an ion thing in it, but they dont do shit, they are just a fan!!

don’t try any save money tricks on ionizing air freshenenrs buy the major brand names because they are authentic

Moldicides–chemicals that are used to kill mold–all contain mercury, which itself is highly toxic.
If you can’t get the walls dry by using dehumidifiers whch you can buy at Sears and large hardware stores, move to another home.

IF you are not runing a de-humidifier you need to. Dampness will always be a source for mold. Put downspout extentions on so that the water does not come out near your foundation..
A mis of 10% clorox bleach and water brushed on the wall will temporarily reduce the mold.

This is not a good situation for anyone to be in.
You have to find a way to stop the dampness. Look at items such as whole house dehumidifiers or individual room de-humidifiers as a temporary fix until you identify why the walls are damp.

You can utilize diluted bleach to aid in removing some of the mold but the only true way to rid yourself of the mold is to encapsulate it.

Once wood / drywall has been saturated and mold has formed, it is basically ruined. You must really consider how to stop the moisture infiltration before it totally ruins that area.

good luck!

Ugh, we had the same problem when we lived in humid Florida, in cinder-block government apartment housing. A solution of bleach water will remove mold from your walls; I think it’s like, one tsp per gallon of water, or something like that. You can also slow the growth of mold by having a dehumidifier running in the most humid areas of your house. Keep mold from getting a foothold by disinfecting with the bleach water solution at least weekly. If it’s bad enough, and you’re doing everything you can to deter the growth, you may have to call in professionals to remove it and they will probably have other solutions on how to prevent it. Hope this helps! :-)
