How to test for food allergies?
I would like to know if I have food allergies. Would you know how much it will cost me to have this done by a naturopath? Have you had such a test and did it really helped improve your health. Thank you so much in advance for your answers.

One thing that many naturopaths will do that conventional doctors won’t is an intolerance test. There’s a big difference between allergy and intolerance, but both can significantly decrease the quality of your life.
The intolerance test is a blood test (that my ND offers) and it’s $115. Not covered by insurance, unfortunately, but it tests for 95 different intolerances.
Allergies are more covered by insurance, so I’m not sure how much those would be.
My life has completely changed since I got tested for Celiac disease (aka gluten intolerance). It’d take way too long to describe here, but seriously. Allergies/intolerances are a big deal. It really REALLY improved my health!
Seriously, do both. It’s worth it.

ya it’s pretty expensive if you don’t have insurance they have to take your blood and test it with each food you think you’re allergic to and if you don’t know it gets pricy ’cause you have to test a lot of food. Good luck!
